Wedding Genie 12 Days of Christmas – Day 5

kelsey Taylor chocolate Table

When it’s dark and cold what better way to warm up your guests than to treat them to a Hot Chocolate extravaganza! A bit like a dessert table but full of goodies for hot chocolate. The wedding venue can serve the actual drinks and then your guests can visit the table for all the scrumptious goodies to go with them. When I was researching this post I found myself attacking the kitchen cupboards in search of chocolate so beware before reading anymore! It is a seriously chocoholic delight.

You can use scrumptious goodies such as:
Marshmallows
Candy canes
Wafer sticks
Whipped cream
Flavoured syrups such as chocolate and cinnamon
Cinnamon sticks
Chocolate sprinkles

I also think it would be gorgeous to have pieces of rocky road, or my favourite is millionaires shortbread. You can serve this during the drinks reception. Especially good if your wedding was at church and your guests had to travel to the reception venue. Another alternative could be a midnight snack as people leave to keep them warm on the journey home.

I just love this next table. Turquoise is one of my favourite winter colours.

Or dip your marshmallows into chocolate and then finish with sprinkles! Great for dunking!

For a Christmas treat I love these stirrers.

If you your wedding is more of an adult theme then why not try these Christmas cookie cocktails.

I just love this sign!

You could always add a little adult tipple too such as Amaretto, Bailey’s, Grand Marnier and Kahlua.

I hope this has given you some ideas and inspiration for a winter treat for your wedding guests. Plan your wedding with personal details and your guests will be so impressed.

Until tomorrow, happy planning.
